Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland

The Mallow based national charity Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland was SmackPR’s very first client. As a charity launching itself on a national basis, it was vital to get as much high profile and credible exposure as possible – and we were delighted to appear on RTE’s FourLive programme as well as TV3’s flagship IrelandAM with some of the highly trained assistance dogs and their new owners.

We worked hard to turn various organisational milestones – such as AADI’s first birthdaya sponsorship deal or an award win into a PR opportunity. During her time working with AADI – Sara wrote and submitted press releases, organised events and provided PR on behalf of the AADICiara and Skye celebrate World Autism Day April 2, 2012

Being a charity – AADI was lucky to receive the support of RTE’s John Creedon, then Presidential candidate Sean Gallagher, Munster rugby star Ronan O’Gara and former Miss Ireland Vivienne Doyle Quinn, whose son Daniel was one of the first recipients of an AADI trained assistance dog.
